The Małe Ciche ski station is located 11 km from the centre of Zakopane, if we take the route via the Oswald Balzer Road, leading under the Tatra Mountains themselves towards the border crossing at Łysa Polana. If we take the Zakopanianka and turn to Małe Ciche in Poronin - we will cover about 14 km.

There are never any problems with parking spaces in Malé Cichem. We can leave our car both at the upper and lower station of the Zgorzelisko Express chairlift. Parking is free of charge. Małe Ciche is a modern ski station with an unbuckled chairlift. What does it mean? In short, it means that it is easier to get off. The route at Zgorzelisko Express railway is 1,300 metres of a very wide and gentle slope with an incline of about 17%. The altitude difference is 220 m. The slope is always well prepared and, thanks to the natural terrain and the chairlift, even beginners can manage it. Unfortunately - people who ski very well may get a bit bored in Mali Cichem. Snowboarders may be additionally discouraged by the fact that the snow park operates only in very snowy winter. The Małe Ciche chairlift starts in the middle of the long slope and is a great alternative in case of crowding at the lower station of Zgorzelisko. Unfortunately - getting off this chair is not as pleasant as with the gondola. But, of course, everything can be done if you want to avoid crowding. The ski slope at the Małe Ciche ski lift is a bit narrower and steeper than the one at Zgorzelisko, but in snowy winters, you can go around the forest overlooking the ski lift and thus make your stay in Małe Ciche more pleasant and avoid the crowded slope at Zgorzelisko. The ski station also offers several ski lifts of various lengths and difficulty levels of the slopes. To avoid crowds, it is best to go to Małe Ciche during the week. During winter holidays, it is crowded until lunchtime. Between 1 and 2 pm, the queue to the ski lift disappears and you can ski almost without stopping. At weekends, it is the loosest in the afternoons and evenings. Małe Ciche is illuminated after dark, and night skiing on the wide slopes can be a real pleasure. Both at the lower and at the upper station of Zgorzelisko, you will find restaurants where you can drink hot tea and eat some fast food. Unfortunately, we can hardly call this food "entertainment", but we use it because halfway through a day on the slopes, everyone starts to run out of energy. At the bottom station, you can also find equipment rental or shops where you can buy googles or an extra pair of gloves. Naturally, a ski/snowboard instructor is available in Malé Cichem. Children can also use the Bajlandia playroom, located on the first floor of the Małe Ciche restaurant. Małe Ciche is the station with the most beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains on the Polish side. Well - maybe apart from Kasprowy, but it is a completely different quality and difficulty of the slope. The Małe Ciche ski station is the first choice of those who like to ski recreationally, not athletically. The gentle and very wide piste, as well as the comfortable and fast chairlift, make the ride a real leisure experience.
