It is a ski station located a few kilometres from Zakopane. During the week the slope is not crowded and you don't have to stand there for a long time in the queue for the ski lift. Unfortunately - this often happens at weekends. It is best to go to the slope first thing in the morning - then you can ski in comfortable conditions for as long as 3-4 hours before the slope gets crowded. Witów Ski is not an alpine-type station, but it is quite decent for the conditions in the Polish Tatras. The slope is one of those rather gentle ones. A one-kilometre-long four-person chairlift, a 120-metre-long T-bar for the youngest skiers, a 550-metre-long snow park (no wonder - there is a snowboarding school of Jagna Marczułajtis - the Polish and European champion in snowboarding), equipment rental, night lighting, a restaurant - all this makes Witów a good place to have fun. Even if you snowboard or ski for the first time. In Witów you can ski from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
